Meet Our Pastor

Pam Walsh
Pam Walsh

Pam has lived in Mississippi all of her life. She began ministry at the age of sixteen, working closely with a mission church established in a rural, poverty-stricken part of Mississippi. She felt passionate about this “hands on” approach to carrying the message of Christ.

After graduation she sang in a Christian ensemble at Mississippi College while in nursing school. This ensemble was honored to sing at many churches and campuses across the Southeastern United States.

She has eight years of experience with children’s choirs, drama teams and youth activities coordinator. She remembers, “loving one child or one teen at a time is what makes all the difference. People just need to know they are valued”.

In 1996 she completed a one year process of study and was ordained by Holy Trinity Church in Memphis, Tennessee. She has been pastor at Safe Harbor Family Church since that time. During her tenure, Safe Harbor became part of the United Church of Christ denomination.

She is also an oncology nurse and has been caring for cancer patients for twenty nine years. She is excited about all that God has in store for Safe Harbor. “Serving as pastor has been one of the most rewarding gifts of my life. God has blessed us all beyond measure and I can’t wait to see what miracles lay ahead.”
